FDA APPROVED FOR SNORING

  • NO IMPRESSION
  • NO SIZING
  • NO MEASURING
  • MINIMAL VERTICAL OPENING
  • ONE SIZE FITS ALL
  • SOFT AND COMFORTABLE TO WEAR ALL NIGHT
  • IDEAL FOR EDENTULOUS PATIENTS

The SNOR.X appliance slides over the tongue and is suction-secured with a simple squeeze to the front end. This prevents the tongue from dropping back into the posterior pharyngeal airway. In addition and only if neccasary the lip guard permits a further degree of protrusive tongue adjustability. This ensures an ideal tongue extension and patient comfort. Air vents are sculpted onto the upper surface of the sleeve to facilitate mouth breathing.

SNOR.X is constructed of two durable pieces – a one-size-fits-all tongue sleeve (medical-grade silicone) and an extraoral lip guard (plastic ring) held in place by notches on each side of the appliance.

Doctors Instructions

Fitting and Care
After you have completed your nightly teeth-gums-tongue care regimen, put on Snore.X and sleep snore-free.

Fitting:
Extend your tongue forward into the tongue sleeve (u-shaped cutaway facing down) and gently squeeze the tongue bulb (Fig 1). This creates a gentle vacuum that will secure the tongue in place. NOTE: The notches on the side of the appliance should remain outside the mouth (Fig 2).

Lip Ring:
The clear plastic ring is provided to adjust tongue extension, if needed. Once the Snor.X is secure, slide the ring over the appliance and place it into the notch, making sure the ring sits outside the lips and mouth (Figure 3). NOTE: The lip rest will facilitate air flow for mouth breathers. To promote nasal breathing, the ring can be inverted so that the lip rest is on the bottom part of the bulb.

Appliance Care:
After use, clean the Snor.X with a proper dental appliance cleaner, e.g. Sonic Cleaner with Retainer Brite or Nature Zone UV Appliance Cleaner. To order call 800-423-3270.

If swallowing (with Snor.X in place) initially poses a challenge, perform the following exercise often during the first days of use: Place your tongue in front of teeth, under the lip. Hold the tongue with your teeth and gently swallow for several minutes

Contact your dentist with any further questions or concerns.
